WANTON DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION is a trio of short plays written by Zach Smilovitz, award-winning playwright and former freelance monologue writer for the Late Show with David Letterman.

Witty, provocative, touching, and at times uproariously funny, WANTON DISPLAYS OF AFFECTION is a captivating examination of the modern American zeitgeist.

In ‘Default Swap,' we find two co-workers standing on a ledge outside an office window - amid the great heights of the city and the great lows of the economic recession - both sharing the same intention. In ‘Mr. and Mrs. Aronovitz Go to the Doctor,' a husband and wife's trip to the doctor, after something's grown back that shouldn't have, uses humor, satire and a little Yiddish to probe deeper questions about honesty and openness in marriage. In ‘The Bodies,' four 20-somethings, stuck in the malaise of post-graduation, try to save a friend's life.

CAST INCLUDES Nico Ager, Jaime Lyn Beatty, Lee Chrisman, Arielle Goldman, Paul Manganello, Lily Marks and Brittany Uomoleale.
