Before he began producing and hosting "The Barry Z Show," Barry owned and operated his own Comedy Club, "Comedy U Grand." He has since seen many comics who performed at "Comedy U Grand" go on to headline and host their own television shows, like Ray Romano, Brett Butler, Joy Behar, Rita Rudner, Carol Leiffer, and Larry David.
