Blue Hill Troupe will present Gilbert & Sullivan's The Mikado in eight performances with a full orchestra, April 12-20, 2013. All proceeds will benefit the GO Project.
Considered by many to be the gem of the Gilbert & Sullivan canon, "The Mikado" is an irresistible concoction of rapturous melody, witty satire, and exotic locale, peopled with unforgettable characters.
The production runs April 12, 19, 20 at 8:00pm; April 13, 20 at 2:00pm; April 14 at 3:00pm; and April 17, 18 at 7:30pm at the El Teatro of El Museo del Barrio, 1230 Fifth Avenue / Between 104th & 105th Streets. Subway: 6 train to 103rd Street; 2/3 train to 110th Street. Bus: M1, M2, M3, M4.
