Brittany Parker to Guest Star in MISSED CONNECTIONS at the Laurie Beechman, 3/4

Missed Connections: An Exploration Into the Online Postings of Desperate Romantics will feature a full cast of University of Florida alumni when Brittany Parker makes a guest appearance for the Monday, March 4, 10pm performance at The Laurie Beechman Theater.

Brittany Parker is a NYC based actress, singer, and dancer originally from central Florida. She has a BFA in Theatre Performance from the University of Florida, and is an alum of the acting apprenticeship at The Actors Theatre of Louisville. She has performed in various styles of classical and Contemporary Theatre with companies including St. Ann's Warehouse, Actors Theatre of Louisville, FringeNYC, Lake Dillon Theatre, UglyRhino Productions (with whom she is an Associate Artist), and Billy & Company. She also plays guitar and ukulele, performing her own acoustic sets as well as singing with area bands. Brittany will join regular cast members Jennifer Anderson, Ricky Dunlop, and Jake McKenna for this performance.

Guest stars for future performances will be announced shortly. Previous guest stars have included George Salazar, Julia Mattison, Jen Ponton, Juson Williams and Suellen Vance.

Using real postings from the infamous craigslist section, the group will dive headfirst into dozens of unique characters. With a variety of locations, intentions and grammar, Missed Connections is a show of endless hilarity. Previous performances were staged at The Kraine Theater, The Producers Club, The Magnet Theater and The Brooklyn Lyceum (for the New York Times recognized UglyRhino).

The show is performed by a rotating cast featuring Jennifer Jean Anderson, Ricky Dunlop, Jake McKenna, Lauren Roth and George Salazar.
