Ben Cameron (Wicked, Aida, Footloose) is the host and creator of BROADWAY SESSIONS at THE MIDTOWN THEATRE at the HA! Comedy Club (163 West 46th Street / Between 6th & 7th Avenues) every Thursday night at 11:00pm. Broadway Sessions is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week, and features musical director/composer Will Van Dyke (The Addams Family) on piano. In addition after the show we open the microphone up to anyone who wants to sing. Open mic from 12:00-2am.

This THURSDAY, August 11th, 2011 the weekly show (now in it's 3rd year) will hold a special concert event celebrating the birthdays of Broadway Sessions associate producer Cori Gardner and Co-Creater/Executive producer of the docu-series Curtain Called, Danny Jordan. The evening will feature performances by Maroulis and a host of theater luminaries.

Constantine Maroulis received a Tony award nomination for his performance as ‘Drew' in Rock of Ages. Maroulis recently recreated the role on the ROA national tour. Also scheduled to perform are Felicia Finley (The Wedding Singer), Rachel Potter (The Addams Family), Donnie Kehr (Billy Elliot), Michelle Kinney (Drift), Ryann Redmond (Bring it On), Greg Reuter (Spamalot), Sarah Litzsinger (Beauty and the Beast), Michael Lanning (The Civil War), Jessica Dillan (Thoroughly Modern Millie), Jeremy Schonfeld (Clear Blue Tuesday), compose Drew Gasparini, Emma Hunton (Next to Normal) and host Ben Cameron

Open mic party goes til 2 am featuring guest pianist Joshua Stephen Kartes

Broadway Sessions takes place every Thursday evening at The Midtown Theater, 163 west 46th street inside the HA! Comedy Club. Doors open at 10:40 pm with showtime at 11pm and musical theater open mic party goes til 2 am. There is NO cover charge. Donations will be collected for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids.
