IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU THEN NOBODY CAN Plays Additional Show to Benefit St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 12/15

Tyrone Lowman bursts on the New York scene as a leading African-American playwright with his new play, If I Can't Have You Then Nobody Can. The overwhelming response already received has promoted an additional performance.

Ty Lowman has become a respected author by taking pages from the bible and writing them in a harsh, modern voice. The acclaim this latest play garnered out-of-town has prompted a New York limited run. But it doesn't stop there. The positive energy of this run opens the door for the rest of Ty Lowman's to premiere in NYC: What Kind Of Love Is This? about infidelity; Lord, Make Me Over, focusing on one man's drug-fueled inner turmoil; and He's Still a Man, about a pastor and his own sins of the flesh.

IF I CAN'T HAVE YOU... concerns Dorian Phillips (Victor Landol) – loved by his family and respected by his community. Until his secret of years before comes knocking at his door... and that secret wants him back at any cost!

The New York cast includes Ron Denson, Alyssa Baines, Casandra King, Eugene Daniels, and Taeshia Francis.

Special Benefit Showings on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. at The Sonnet Theater at The Producers Club,  358 West 44th Street in New York City. Tickets are $25 in advance / $30 at the door. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
