In LIVING DEAD IN DENMARK, zombies are on the loose and it's up to Shakespeare's most famous heroines to save the day, with a little help from Rosencrantz, Guildenstern, Fortinbras and Lady Gaga. It is an epic zombie action thriller by Qui Nguyen, that will invade the East Village's Gene Frankel Theater for a strictly limited 17-performance engagement April 5 - 21, 2013.

What is LIVING DEAD IN DENMARK? As audiences enter the theater they're handed a poncho to shield them from the blood and a beer to shield them from the terrifying realities of the new dystopian world order: The Undead are on the loose and it's up to some of history's most famous characters to save the world from the Zombie Apocalypse. Trapped in the middle of an epic battle to survive - complete with high-flying fight sequences choreographed by legendary fight directors Rick Sordelet and ChristIan Kelly-Sordelet - you'll emerge buzzed and bloody from this heart-pounding theatrical experience directed by Kathleen Kelly.

Performances will be held Mondays through Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. Tickets for the Splash Zone, which are located in the first two rows of the theater and include a free Brooklyn Beer and Blood-Shielding Poncho, are $35. General admission tickets, which include a free Brooklyn Beer, are $25. (Free Brooklyn beers are only for Zombie Apocalypse victims age 21+.)
