The production will be produced by Colbylocks Productions, with direction and choreography by Jason Wise (Off-Broadway: Showgirls The Musical, Bayside), musical direction by Brandon Magid (Broadway: Godspell), and book and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa.

The production will feature new and unexpected elements, such as silk work and the role of the Medium/Aunt Monica, originally played by Mary Testa, will be portrayed by a Male Actor.

Michael John LaChiusa's three part musical -- based on the short stories by Ryunosuke Akutagawa -- explores lust, greed, murder and redemption. An innocent bystander, a cunning thief, a flirtatious wife, a psychic, even the ghost of a murdered man are all caught in a web of deciet, where everyone's truth may be a lie. A lush musical score combining Jazz, Pop, Classical & Asian Influences drives the story telling in this virtuosic piece named by New York Magazine as one of the best musicals of 2005.

The Box Office will open September 1st, 2013. For more information, visit The Producers Club at 358 West 44th Street, NYC 10023.
