NY Neo-Futurists Present The F. U. Show a.k.a. The Fair Use Show

NY-Neo-Futurists-Present-The-F-U-Show-aka-The-Fair-Use-Show-20010101

The NEW YORK NEO-FUTURISTS will perform a one-weekend-only version of their ongoing, award-winning show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind featuring 30 short, completely original plays in 60 minutes that were inspired by film, television, theater and literature.

About the show: "The Neo-Futurists offer their distinctive take on popular culture in a way that is both personal and communal. Art-house, low-brow, cult classic and everything in-between... nothing is off limits!"

Performances are March 9th and 10th at the Kraine Theater (85 East 4th St). This special one-weekend-only event will take place Friday and Saturday at 10:30pm.

Tickets are $11.00 plus the roll of a six-sided die ($12-$17) at the door. Advance tickets are $18.00 and can be purchased online at http://www.nyneofuturists.org, or by calling 212-352-3101.

Experience performances by New York Neo-Futurists Cecil Baldwin, Meg Bashwiner, Jeffrey Cranor, Cara Francis, Kate Jones, Jacquelyn Landgraf, Christopher Loar, Rob Neill and Yolanda Wilkinson.

Members of the 2012 New York Neo-Futurists ensemble are Cecil Baldwin, Meg Bashwiner, Jill Beckman, Christopher Borg, Roberta Colindrez, Jeffrey Cranor, Cara Francis, Ricardo Gamboa, Ryan Good, Nicole Hill, Kate Jones, Erica Livingston, Christopher Loar, Dan McCoy, Rob Neill, Joey Rizzolo and Adam Smith.

About the group: THE NEW YORK NEO-FUTURISTS are an ensemble of dynamic writer/performer/directors who present the critically acclaimed, energetic show of original short plays, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind-- a non-illusory collage of the comic and tragic, the political and personal, the visceral and experimental, while embracing chance, change, and chaos. Developing out of the format that has been a success in Chicago since 1988, the New York Neo-Futurists have roots in NYC from the mid 90’s. Since opening TML in New York, they have created over 2600 plays and continue to present new and vital work every weekend in the East Village. For more info: www.nynf.org
