SUMMER WITH JACK SHALLOO Plays Battersea Barge, August 28

Summer-With-Jack-Shalloo-at-the-Battersea-Barge-Sunday-August-28-20010101The final evening in SimG Productions' "Summer With....." Cabaret season at The Battersea Barge on Sunday August 28th will feature Essex-born actor/singer/songwriter, Jack Shalloo "and Friends".

Jack Shalloo received great notices playing the role of Pete in Dougal Irvine's musical, "Departure Lounge", and more recently earned acclaim as Tony Lumpkin in Howard Goodall and Charles Hart's "The Kissing Dance" and for playing the title role in "Hamlet The Musical!". Jack's other theatre credits include Lewis in "Our House" (Birmingham Rep and UK Tour), Jackie in the original cast of "Whistle Down The Wind" (Aldwych Theatre) and Spider in "Oliver!" (London Palladium). Making his debut solo cabaret at "The Barge", Shalloo will present a selection of songs from his original debut album "London Soul" - which is currently selling well at Dress Circle and on iTunes and has been described in Customer Reviews as "funky and fun with a distinctive musical voice" and "cleverly written, cheeky and catchy".

The evening will also feature performances from MD and co-writer Spesh Maloney and guests Gina Beck, Natalie Green & The Loveable Rogues (subject to availability).
