T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre Presents JACK'S BACK! World Premiere, Now thru 5/24

JACK'S BACK!, a world premiere musical with book by Elmer L. Kline w/ Lee Cardini & Tom Herman and music/lyrics by Tom Herman, will be directed by John Gould Rubin for T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre tonight, May 9 through May 24, with a press opening of May 17.

Has Jack the Ripper finally met his match? Find out in this madcap musical romp. Herbert Wingate, an irrepressible cockney sausage stuffer, takes on the ruthless murderer in the foggy, gas-lit streets of Whitechapel. JACK’S BACK! is sure to reach your heart and your funny bone as Herbert’s zany schemes unfold, as he valiantly struggles to make the streets safe and his dreams come true. Tom Herman contributes a rich new score that’s Broadway meets Operetta meets Vaudeville.

Produced by T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre, winner of the 2011 New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Production, the show runs Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. at the Gloria Maddox Theatre at T. Schreiber Studio & Theatre, located at 151 W 26th St., between 6th & 7th Ave. | Subway 1 to 28th St..
