THE FUTURE Makes US Premiere at 9th Space, Now thru 10/20

THE-FUTURE-Makes-US-Premiere-103-1020-20010101

Senexate LLC presents the US Premiere of Andrew Harrison's play THE FUTURE which was much acclaimed in the British press. The production is directed by Paula D'Alessandris, Mind The Gap Theatre's Artistic Director, and features Catherine Gibson, Ilinca Kiss, Claire Sanderson, Fergal Titley, Derrence Washington and StuArt Williams.

THE FUTURE explores our world in twenty or thirty years, when scientists have found a cure for aging. Six friends meet for dinner and discuss reports of this discovery. Initially they do not believe the media hype, but it soon becomes apparent that the wonder drug Senexate does work. We observe how an extended lifespan affects their approach to work, relationships, religion, having children and happiness.

Previously produced at The Pentameters Theatre in London, this production marks the play's New York and U.S. premiere.

THE FUTURE runs from tonight, October 3-20 at 9th Space, 150 First Ave at East 9th St. Performances are Tues-Sat at 8pm, Sun at 5pm. Tickets are $30. Running time is 1 hr and 40 min with one intermission. For tickets and information, call 866-811-4111 or visit senexate.com.
