20 years ago she was the superhero Perfectra - and a robot. Today she's Jane, a real woman who gave up power and perfection to be a mother. But estranged from her daughter and fighting a no-longer-perfect physique is not the ending she planned on! Mother/daughter relationships are never easy but for these two it's an epic battle.

Kelly Jean Fitzsimmons (writer/producer) wrote and directed Woman vs. Superman for the Midtown International Theater Festival, named in Backstage as one of the year's most memorable off-off Broadway shows. An award-winning screenwriter and Writers Boot Camp alumni, she created White Girl with a Fat Ass www.jellykean.wordpress.com with the mission to raise money and awareness for hunger relief in creative ways.

Ivanna Cullinan (director) has directed numerous productions including Brief History of Murder - Detectives & Victims; by Richard Lovejoy; Folly Ball, by Jeff Lewonczyk; Bonbons for Breakfast, by Lisa Ferber; Breaking Ranks by Zack Calhoon; My Year of Porn by Cole Kasdin; Walking Shadow by Daniel Bowes, and Henry VI, parts 1, 2 & 3 for Judith Shakespeare Company.

Michael Newman (artist) is an actor, writer, and performs in sketch and improv shows around New York City. He has been drawing and writing comics for many years.

Chris Chappell (sound designer) produces and composes music for indie theater, burlesque, and film. Co-founder of the theater company Sneaky Snake Productions, recent shows have included Adventurer Quest, A Brief History of Murder, and Nerdlesque, a bimonthly geek burlesque.

MEL & EL (Perfectra theme song) are Melanie Adelman and Ellie Dvorkin. Described as a modern-day Laverne & Shirley, MEL & EL are a riotously funny musical comedy duo who have quickly become an NYC cult phenomenon. www.melandel.com
