SUITCASE is inspired by folk tales and fairy tales collected in conversations conducted on the streets of Jackson Heights, the most diverse neighborhood in the world - tales hailing from Burma, China, Germany, Hungary, India, Iran, Ireland, Korea, Latin America, Mexico, Pakistan, Thailand, and beyond.

• A New Way of Writing a Play.
Honed during our 2010 Jackson Rep debut, 167 TONGUES, our creators use a unique system of collaborative creation - this is not seven one-acts, but one play by seven authors sharing characters, interweaving storylines.
