WorkShop Theater Presents A CHRISTMAS CAROL One-Man Show, 12/16-18

Workshop-Theater-Presents-A-CHRISTMAS-CAROL-One-Man-Show-1216-18-20010101

Back by popular demand, WORKSHOP THEATER COMPANY is pleased to announce a special, limited engagement of Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, adapted and performed by Greg Oliver Bodine and directed by Shana Solomon. A CHRISTMAS CAROL will play in The Jewel Box Theater at WorkShop Theater (312 West 36th Street, 4th Floor). Performances begin Sunday, December 16 and continue through Tuesday, December 18. All performances are at 8pm.

Charles Dickens's 1867 American Reading Tour is off to a rough start. Due to an inexplicable loss of his luggage, he regretfully announces that he will be unable to read from his beloved classic, "A Christmas Carol." All is not lost however; Dickens delivers what he promised by
performing from memory the magical story of Ebenezer Scrooge's journey from miserliness to redemption with warmth and humor. This one-man play is based on the condensed version Dickens himself used on his historic reading tours of the United States and is adapted here to
offer a unique theatrical experience. One actor. One hour! This show is rated G and is suitable for adults and children over eight (8) years of age. Join us!

The production features Greg Oliver Bodine* as Charles Dickens, performing all the characters from his beloved, holiday novella. *Appearing courtesy of Actors' Equity Association. AEA approved showcase.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL is associate-produced by Thomas Coté. David M. Mead is the stage manager.

A CHRISTMAS CAROL plays the following schedule through Tuesday, Dec. 18:

Sunday, Dec. 16, at 8pm
Monday, Dec. 17, at 8pm
Tuesday, Dec. 18, at 8pm

Tickets are $15–18 and are now available online at workshoptheater.org or by calling 866-811-4111. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the theater 30 minutes prior to performance. Running Time: 65 minutes.
