UPCOMING SHOWS – APRIL 2012

Tuesday, April 10th and Tuesday, April 17th:

Jessye Normous

Live with the XL Orchestra

Show at 9:00pm

Seating at 8:00pm

Tickets $10.00

21 + / Limited seating available / First Come, first seated

Jessye Normous is the world’s biggest Opera Diva and high fashion model, but that's only in HER mind. In fact she is a larger than life, self obsessed, over the hill, washed up, overweight, delusional opera singer that still believes she's got it. She is a cross between Norma Desmond and Miss Piggy. While she sings the Operatic songs brilliantly, like most Opera singers, she does not realize that she should stick to opera. Jessye goes from Opera to Gospel Spirituals to Broadway to Disco and even Pop. As she says, "I am an opera diva, there is NOTHING I can’t doooo." Of course all of this leads to one of the most hilarious nights of live singing, music and theater… ever!

EVERY WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

Bunny & Bianca in HOT MESS

Lady Bunny and Bianca Del Rio joined by Milan and Jiggly Caliente from Rupaul’s Drag Race, Sugga Pie Koko and Skyla Versai

Show at 9:00pm

21 + / Limited seating available / First Come, first seated

Introducing Bunny and Bianca's HOT MESS: The outrageous new Wednesday night drag revue the Village Voice calls the “Best Drag Show in New York.”

Lady Bunny has handpicked some of the city's most talented drag divas for a weekly Wednesday night extravaganza. The ladies include Bianca Del Rio (widely regarded as the quickest wit on the NYC drag scene), Milan and Jiggly Caliente (Rupaul Drag Race 4 favorites), Skyla Versai (the talented newcomer from Lips), Sugga Pie Koko (the comedian of the group) and more! The 9PM show time is perfect as either a starting point or for those who prefer to make an earlier night of it mid-week. With both solo and production numbers complete with matching costumes, HOT MESS ups the ante for weekly drag reviews. Naughty comedienne Lady Bunny is moonlighting from her critically acclaimed cabaret show That Ain't No Lady! which the NY Times rave review claimed made "Book Of Mormon look like Bambi." She also appears as the Dean of Drag on RuPaul's Drag U.
