Amanda Mashack began as a musician and refocused her attention to technical theater while at West Chester University of Pennsylvania. She then moved on to the (melo)dramatics of education and kids as a substitute teacher and Girl Scout program leader. Currently, she manages ebooks at a publishing company and serves as the New York editor for Musical Avenue, a French site dedicated to musicals. A Maryland native, she is loyal to the Orioles but also supports the Phillies and is an avid Ravens fan.
