For what it's worth, I think all three of the nominees have more eclectic scores. And the two plays nominated have the best scores of the year. But yes, he will almost certainly win. Although his score for SISTER ACT was infinitely better.
Oh, I'm saying nothing about the quality of his score. But after the speculation that he'd split his own vote if "Leap" got a nod, to find himself with one nom up against Frank Wildhorn and two plays when it could have been two of his shows against U2 must be putting him in a good mood. I imagine he's the happiest person to NOT be nominated for something in all of Broadwayland.
I mean, he should just get up and start walking to the stage as soon as they announce the category. Save that 30 seconds for something else in the broadcast.
