Thanks for sharing this. Nick really has proven he can carry a show and his humble attitude in this speech solidifies how much he has matured even more. I will eagerly be awaiting his return to Broadway, maybe even to originate a role one day.
He's a nice kid, but he really needs to loosen up and learn how to play with his image the way Radcliffe does. A shirtless shoot in Out Magazine certainly wouldn't hurt.
Hey he buzzed off his hair today, that's about as radical as he's gonna get in the immediate future!
Although he's started to take some roles outside of the super Disney nice guy. He played kind of a horndog on Smash, and then on Last Man Standing he played a teen deadbeat dad, so...baby steps!
While he has been doing acting roles outside of Disney, his band as well as the Jonas Brothers are still under Disney's own Hollywood Records label, so he is still with them (just in a musical capacity). I'm sure he would still act for them again if he is given the opportunity.
TheatreKid3--Actually, The Jonas Brothers aren't with Hollywood Records/Disney anymore. Earlier this month, they left the label and managed to buy back all the masters to their old music and keep all their publishing rights:
