I've heard the live recording of Merman performing "Rose's Turn" (along with other dialogue scenes; all purportedly from closing night in 1961), but this is the first time I've come across a live recording of "Everything's Coming Up Roses" (apparently from the same night). You hear a much more 'emotional' Merman here.. much less 'singing steamroll machine,' as we're so familiar with on the OBCR. I love the Merm and I love both of her 'interpretations.' What a sight it must have been to see her perform her definitive role live. Yes, even Sondheim would agree.
