ACT (A Contemporary Theatre) of Connecticut is an award-winning nonprofit 501(c)(3) professional theatre located in Ridgefield, CT. We present limited engagement runs of well-known musicals, as well as world-premiere productions by the next generation of writers and composers.
We’re looking for an organized project coordinator with good design sensibilities and great interpersonal communications skills. You are a self starter who takes pride in the work created. While you needn’t be a graphic designer, experience using tools like Adobe Creative Cloud and Canva would be ideal.
Project Management:
- Create and maintain marketing content calendar noting dates for press release submissions, social media posts, email blasts, etc. Ensure that approval deadlines are set and met, well in advance of media deadline
- Distribute approved press releases for each production, and as needed for the promotion of the theatre
- Manage relationships between the theatre and local community partners who display our marketing materials in their storefronts. Distribute posters, lamppost banners, flyers, and other marketing materials according to agreed upon schedule
- Capture marketing data, including patron responses, campaign performance, or other light data analysis as assigned. Pull box office data to correlate with advertising expenditures
- Coordinate scheduling for photoshoots and/or video recordings of theater programming for use in social media, press, and/or website
- On occasion: Perform Front of House duties as needed throughout the run of the performance
- Follow our brand guidelines to create a variety of promotional and on-site collateral including: print/digital ads, social media graphics, flyers, posters, lobby displays, emails
- Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva and MailChimp is helpful. Training available. (Familiarity with Figma is a plus but not required)
- Other marketing duties as requested by the creative and/or executive team
Salary: $40,000 - $44,000/year
