Emerging Artists Theatre Now Accepting Submissions For Their Spring Bi-Annual New Work Series In Manhattan

Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) is seeking submissions of polished works in progress that are ready to be put in front of an audience for their Spring New Work Series (NWS), which is scheduled to run March 6 through March 26 at TADA Theater in the Flatiron district. The Fall New Work Series was a critic's pick in The New York Times and Time Out New York and featured 70 new works with over 450 artists participating. In January EAT will begin its 30th season of presenting new work.

Emerging Artists Theatre has announced the line-up for the first week of their bi-annual New Work Series. The three-week festival runs March 21 to April 10 and showcases new musicals, dance pieces, solo shows and plays, in various stages of development. Over 50 productions will be presented.

In celebration of their 28th season, Emerging Artists Theatre will present a virtual benefit reading of Pooling to Paradise by Caytha Jentis, on Monday, November 23 at 8 pm. The production is directed by Alice Jankell and features Veronica Dang, Eulone Gooding, Stephen Reich, and Jersten Seraile. Proceeds from the benefit will help support Emerging Artists New Work Series.

In celebration of their 28th season, Emerging Artists Theatre will present a virtual benefit reading of Doris Day: A Sentimental Journey, by Paul Adams. Longtime collaborator Melissa Attebery, directs. The reading stars Tiffan Borelli as Doris Day and is accompanied by Matt Casarino Proceeds will benefit Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT) and The Doris Day Animal Foundation.
