Shakespeare & Company will commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Bard during this 39th performance season with a newly configured theatre, and will debut its first production in-the-round with The Merchant of Venice, directed by Founder Tina Packer and featuring Jonathan Epstein as Shylock. This controversial and poignant play opens the Tina Packer Playhouse on July 1, and runs through August 21. 

Pop, a television network seen in more than 80 million homes with original programming that celebrates what fans are excited about, today announced its 2016-2017 upfront slate which showcases premium original series, award-winning talent and programming that taps into cultural trends and topics.

Best known for the “American Pie” films and such other comedies as “Best in Show,” comic actor Eugene Levy now co-stars with his son Daniel Levy on “Schitt’s Creek,” a series on the TV network Pop.

Pop, the network that celebrates the fun of being a fan, announced today its original programming and development slate for the 2015-2016 Upfront season

SCHITT'S CREEK, the critically acclaimed hit comedy series starring Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, Chris Elliott, Daniel Levy and Annie Murphy, has been picked up for a second season, it was announced today by Pop, the entertainment network which launched earlier this year to celebrate the fun of being a fan. Season two of SCHITT'S CREEK is set to air on the network with 13 new episodes in 2016.

On last night's LATE NIGHT, Eugene Levy and his son Daniel Levy discussed the troubles of naming their new show Schitt's Creek, premiering Wednesday night on the Pop Network.

TVGN announced that it will rebrand as Pop across its distribution of 80 million homes today, Jan. 14, 2015. The CBS/Lionsgate joint venture, currently known as TVGN, will embrace a new on-air look and creative design to accompany its new brand promise - celebrating the fun of being a fan.
