Albert Bendix is an actor, producer and a founder of Scandinavian American Theater Company (SATC)in New York. At age 21, he was awarded one of eight annual places at The Danish National School of Theatre in Copenhagen. Upon graduating, he starred in numerous plays, television series, and films in Denmark. Since 2006, New York has been Albert's home. He is an William Esper Studio alumni 2008 (studied with Bill Esper), and some of his New York credits includes Jean in MISS JULIE (Scandinavia House), Carsten in HOME SWEET HOME (PS122), Dutroux in PINOCCHIO'S ASHES (Theater for the New City), and Mr. Y in STRONGER at The Gene Frankel Theatre/Strindberg Rep.
