On Wednesday 26th February 2020, 7pm, Dash Arts are hosting EUROPEANS: G?oeNTER GRASS at Rich Mix London, exploring the world of German artist Günter Grass: novelist, poet, playwright, illustrator, graphic artist, sculptor and the recipient of the 1999 Nobel Prize in Literature.

One of the defining novels of the 20th Century, Gunter Grass's dazzling tour de force, The Tin Drum, is being brought to thrilling theatrical life by Kneehigh in a touring co-production with Liverpool Everyman & Playhouse and West Yorkshire Playhouse. It will open to press at Liverpool Everyman this week, then transfer to West Yorkshire Playhouse before travelling to Bristol, Cornwall and finishing in London's Shoreditch Town Hall. The socially conscious new music collective Ensemble Pi will present its 7th Annual Concert for Peace on November 9 and 10 at the cell theatre in New York City. The concert/performance takes its title from Gunter Grass' controversial poem on Israel, Iran and war, "What Must Be Said." Inspired by the courage to talk, Ensemble Pi's program will showcase three composers whose work - or life - addresses some of the "silences" enforced or suggested by governments or the media.

See Bob Run is directed by Benjamin Watson and features Lisa Snyder as 'Bob'; Wild Abandon is directed by Ruis Woertendyke and features Max Woertendyke as 'Steve.' These solo-performer one-acts will run in conjunction. Performances begin Wednesday, January 7th for a limited run through Saturday, January 24th at Center Stage, NY (48 West 21st Street, 4th floor).
