In the wake of nearly two dozen women independently coming forward following the Access Hollywood hot mic reveal of now President Donald Trump's egregious sexual misconduct,

Award-winning artists and activists are joining forces to bring the #MeToo movement to the stage. Inspired by the women who have come forward with personal accounts of President Donald Trump's sexual harassment and assaults, "The Pussy Grabber Plays" will premiere Monday, January 14 at 9:30 p.m. at Joe's Pub at The Public Theater. An acclaimed, all-female production team will make the play available royalty-free to theaters, community groups and colleges across the country, creating a new platform for survivors of sexual abuse.

The Playwrights Realm, led by Founding Artistic Director Katherine Kovner and Producing DirectorRoberta Pereira, selected four early-career playwrights for its 2015-16 Writing Fellows program: Liza Birkenmeier, Clarence Coo, Donja Love, and Ione Lloyd.

Running May 17-20 at 7pm, The Realm will present staged readings of new work by 2015-16 Writing Fellows Sam Chanse, Lauren Feldman, Jonathan Payne, and David Zax. PTP/NYC, formerly known as The Potomac Theatre Project, in association with Middlebury College, presents '25 on 25', a special 25th Anniversary celebration featuring the work of Middlebury College artists. '25 on 25' takes place on Monday, July 25 at The Atlantic Stage 2, located at 330 West 16th Street between 8th & 9th Avenues in New York City. '25 on 25' begins at 1pm and runs until 11pm, and features 10 hours of readings, presentations and panel discussions of works written, directed and performed by Middlebury artists. Talkbacks with company members will follow each performance. The event is free of charge and open to the public. No reservations are required.
