This is WTC's first live performance since March of 2020, when the pandemic shuttered theatres across the world.  The Page-to-Stage Festival is an annual tradition for WTC, where a theme is selected and scripts are solicited based on the theme.  This year's festival has eight original scripts all written with the theme of regret, reflection, and remembrance.

Indie Rights and Organically Grown Productions have announced the Digital HD debut of Michael McGuire's Aquarians.  Shot and set in the snowy Midwest, Aquarians is headlined by three-time Daytime Emmy winner Chandler Massey (Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series, 'Days of Our Lives').  The supporting cast includes Shane Coffey ('Pretty Little Liars'), Tracey Fairaway (A Hologram for the King) and Richard Riehle (The Man from Earth, Office Space).

In our modern dating world, there is no real way to know when a relationship has the potential to last longer than a one night stand. In THE PORCINI TEST, a contemporary play written and directed by Laureen Vonnegut, three long-time friends with hidden truths and concealed weapons banter back and forth over drinks about the merits of men, many of whom they have shared, finally deciding the best way to sift through them is to give each the Porcini test, basically asking if they know how to correctly pronounce the Italian fungi properly. If so, you're in. If not, so long!

The cast will feature Lucas Steele (Natasha, Pierre...1812, The Threepenny Opera), Trevor McQueen (Annie Get Your Gun), Annie Yokom (Prison Break) and Alex Spieth (blankmylife). Book, music & lyrics by Kyle Wilson, Joe Mendick and Sam French. The reading will be directed by Benjamin Viertel.

This July Horse Trade Theater Group will bring back the acclaimed work of their play development group, The Drafts, staging 8 play readings in 4 weeks! Each Today, the first 25 pages of two new plays will be read for an audience, who will vote for their favorite of the night. The two plays that accumulate the most votes at the end of the Summer run, will have a chance to be read in full and compete against each other in August. The winning script will be produced by Horse Trade as part of their 2015 season.

Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Angela's Ashes, and bestseller Tis, Frank McCourt, and his brother Malachy, also a successful author, joined talents to write an autobiographical account of their years growing up in poverty in Ireland, A Couple of Blaguards. Though times were tough in Limerick, the tales spun by the brothers McCourt simmer with bittersweet recollections, ferocious humor and a parade of colorful characters from the priest who warns of sinners' eyeballs exploding in hell to the McCourt grandmother who spits on Franks unruly Presbyterian hair to tame it.

McGuire's, It Comes From Beyond!, directed by Heidi Grumelot (The Flower Thief; Donnie and the Monsters) and featuring Horse Trade's resident acting ensemble, The Drafts.

The production will be directed by Ilaria Amadasi,Jaclyn Biskup (Assistant Director, Love's Labour's Lost at The Public), Lindsey Moore (No Tea Productions), Sara Walsh, and Donya Washington (Now the Cats with Jeweled Claws with Target Margin Theatre).
