William Shakespeare's plays have had many reincarnations over the years but none quite like this one. Broadway Records have produced the world premiere recording of A ROCKIN' Midsummer Night's Dream by New Arts: Newtown Musicals which is a summer program by the 12.14 Foundation, a memorial to the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School back in 2012. All profits made by the sales of this album will go directly to the Foundation to support its future work.

The York Theatre Company presents a one-night only benefit concert celebrating up and coming musical theatre writers, with NEO 11 on Monday, June 15, 2015 The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Festivities begin at 7:30 p.m. followed by a champagne and dessert reception to toast the evening.
The cult classic musical Reefer Madness, with book and lyrics by Kevin Murphy and book and music by Dan Studney, was presented in concert at 54 Below on April 19 and 20, featuring original cast members from the production and movie, Christian Campbell, John Kassir, Harry S. Long after the Waldos coined the term '420,' composer Dan Studney, lyricist Kevin Murphy, and actor/producer Christian Campbell decided that it was time to test the waters in New York City for the return of the hit cult musical REEFER MADNESS. Lighting up at 54 Below, they wanted to see just how high the 17-year-old material gets modern audiences while also celebrating the 10th anniversary of the film adaptation of the show.
